NEW ORLEANS, LA, May 1, 2017 – Medora Ventures announced that John Walker Baus has been hired as an associate. He will be based in New Orleans, Louisiana, and will support clients across all three of Medora's business segments: Medora Capital, Medora Marketing, and Medora Public Affairs.
Prior, Baus served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Propeller, a New Orleans non-profit that supports entrepreneurs as they build and grow ventures that tackle social and environmental disparities.
Medora Ventures co-founder and partner Rob Lalka stated, "John Walker worked on the team I supervised at Propeller, and throughout his year of AmeriCorps service there, two traits especially impressed me. First, he is deeply passionate about giving back to his hometown of New Orleans. Second, he works incredibly hard on behalf of businesses that have a positive impact on the world. He is a wonderful addition to the team and we are excited about the value he will bring to our clients."
A native of New Orleans, Baus is a graduate of the Isidore Newman School and the University of Southern California, where he received his BS in Business Administration, with a Concentration in Financial Analysis, from the Marshall School of Business.
